I am Gabriel Cordeiro Grisostolo, a lawyer admitted to the Brazilian Bar (OAB/PR No. 136.464), with a practice dedicated to business law, contracts, compliance and international business between Brazil and abroad. My work rests on a practical conviction: law, well applied, is an instrument of growth, not an obstacle to it. Before it ever serves as a defence in a dispute, it is the structure that gives decisions security, unlocks operations and lets a company move forward with confidence.
Education and background
I hold a law degree from UniCuritiba and built my training by joining legal technique to a concrete grounding in business. I have worked directly with the drafting and review of contracts, with corporate and notarial matters, with the negotiation of agreements and with the handling of civil disputes, the practice that teaches how to turn theory into workable solutions. I complemented that base with training in compliance, data protection (LGPD) and business modeling, including a startup pre-acceleration program, experience that accustoms me to seeing a company as it is: a set of decisions that need legal certainty in order to move forward.
An advisory, preventive and litigation practice
My practice favors structure and prevention: clear contracts, well-designed companies and risks mapped before they become litigation. That choice has a foundation. Contractual freedom, exercised within the limits of the social function of the contract (article 421 of the Brazilian Civil Code) and reinforced by the Economic Freedom Act (Law No. 13.874/2019), gives the parties the power to organize their own risks, and a well-drafted contract is the instrument that turns that power into predictability. When litigation becomes necessary, I represent both companies and individuals in court with the same logic: reduce exposure and protect what has been built.
Business law with an international dimension
I pay special attention to relations between Brazil and the international market, particularly the United States. I support foreign companies that wish to operate in Brazil, adapting to Brazilian law contracts drafted under another jurisdiction, and Brazilian companies seeking to grow abroad. In an increasingly integrated business environment, this legal bridge is what allows an operation conceived in one country to take effect and withstand enforcement in another.
